Jennifer Clark / Double Bass / Bass Guitar

I am a professional Glasgow-based bass player, session musician, band leader and arranger, with twenty years of professional experience in most genres of Western music.

Throughout my career I've performed with headline acts throughout the UK, including The Jazz House (BBC Radio Scotland), Scottish Television, the Edinburgh Playhouse, Queen's Hall (Edinburgh), City Hall (Glasgow), Bush Hall (London), the Pavillion Theatre (Glasgow), Cabaret Voltare, (Edinburgh), The Lemon Tree (Aberdeen) and many other popular venues throughout the UK.

I play double bass, bass guitars, and electric upright bass. I have an BA Applied Music honours degree from Strathclyde University, where I had the privilege of studying with some of the best in their respective fields, including double bass with Rick Standley, and arrangement and orchestration with Adrian Drover. I also have many years of experience as a band leader, arranger, musical director and tutor.
